In August 2024, CLS began a project at a customer facility in Nebraska to create a more efficient and powerful air compression system for their bulk storage silos. We partnered closely with their engineering team to size and design the equipment needed for a pneumatic conveying system responsible for transferring product into bulk storage silos. This system required a reliable and efficient compressed air solution to support continuous conveying demands.

Early in the project, we discovered that the existing compressor room could not accommodate the upgraded equipment. To address this, we collaborated with the customer to design and plan an expanded structure to house the new compressors. The original compressor room was repurposed for the air tank and dryers resulting in an optimized layout that improved serviceability and workflow.

By delivering a properly sized pneumatic conveying system and a custom-planned compressor installation, we provided the end user with a more efficient, powerful, and reliable air system to support their bulk storage operations. This upgrade enhances conveying performance, minimizes operational interruptions, and positions the facility for long-term production efficiency.
